Boarding at GreenAcres
At GreenAcres Equine, we are dedicated to providing individualized care for each horse, ensuring they live as naturally and comfortably as possible. Our boarding services are designed to meet the unique needs of both horse and owner, creating an environment where your horse can thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Natural, stress free living
We believe that horses are happiest when they have the freedom to express their natural behaviors. That's why we provide free-choice access to high-quality hay, along with ample space to roam and interact with equine companions. Your horse will enjoy a stimulating environment that promotes socialization and mental enrichment, helping to support their overall well-being.

Boarding options at Green Acres
At GreenAcres Equine, we offer a variety of boarding options designed to meet the unique needs of every horse. Whether you prefer a paddock, stall, or pasture, our full-care services ensure that your horse receives the attention and care they deserve.
We aim to maintain a low stocking density for the health of our horses and the land.
All boarding includes nightly turnout, allowing 12-16 hours of turnout time and ample movement.

Each boarding option is designed to prioritize the comfort, health, and well-being of your horse, with a focus on creating a natural and supportive environment.
Pasture
Our 10-acre pasture is home to four pasture residents and shared with horses that enjoy nightly turnout. We offer two types of care for pasture boarding:

Basic Care: $350/month (includes free-choice hay)

Full Care: $550/month (includes free-choice hay, grain, and blanketing)
Paddocks
Our paddocks range in size from 33’x44’ to 66’x120’, providing ample space for your horse to roam. Small paddocks accommodate a maximum of two (2) horses, while our largest paddock can house up to six (6) horses.
We also offer the option of a private paddock for those seeking more individualized space.
Paddocks include daily cleaning, free-choice hay, grain, blanketing, and turnout.

Stalls
Our stalls come in two sizes: single (10'x14') and double (20'x14'), both equipped for full care, including daily cleaning, free-choice hay, grain, blanketing, and turnout.

Paddock/stall cleaning
Paddocks and stalls are cleaned daily.
Water
Horses will always have access to clean water. Tank heaters are utilized in the winter months.
Feed
Up to 6 lbs of grain is provided per day. There is dedicated space in the feed room for owner-provided grain and supplements.
Blanketing
Blanketing services are provided twice a day. All boarders will be provided a bin for storing blankets and other supplies.
Holding services
We provide holding services for horses if owners are not available. There is a charge for this service.
Service Scheduling
We are happy to schedule horses for services using our stable farriers, veterinarians, bodyworkers, and so on. We work to schedule routine services on the same day to split call-out fees.
Wash Rack
A cold water wash rack is available. Great for cooling down hot horses or make them sparkling clean.
Heated Crosstie
A heated crosstie is available in addition to our aisle crossties. Great for chilly mornings!
Tack Space
Boarders are provided two tack spaces, a spot in the tack trunk room and a spot in the heated tack room, this includes a saddle rack, two bridle racks, and a ‘warm bin’.
Trailer Parking
Boarders can park one trailer on the facility at no charge.

Customized Collaborative Care
We understand that all horses are not the same, which is why we work closely with each boarder and a team of professionals to adjust their horses care as needed. This includes feeding, training, bodywork, boarding options, etc.

Supplies
We are proud to provide our ‘supplies shelf’ that is stocked with many of the supplies you might need in a pinch. Tack store too far away or closed, we have got your back! We also have sheets of every other size in the barn, and we can pull sheets and blankets of every size out of storage on request.
